How to become a better blogger

Having something important to say goes a long way when one is blogging. That is the prime criteria for having an effective blog. Sustainable interest in your topic is important if you ever hope to gain followers. But first of all, one must decide to become a better blogger; it's a daily grind if one is not interested in what one is blogging about. You must be enthusiastic and passionate about your topic and others will likewise become enthusiastic and will be waiting for new blogs.

Effective blogging is nothing more than inflated sound bites that expound upon some topic of discussion that is relevant. It is seen for what it is, an effective way to get the word out about some cause, some product, some politician, and it is not about the personal thoughts of the  write, unless of course the blogger is a celebrity in one whose every word is law.

First, it is perfectly okay to blog and use that time and that online privilege without having others endorse the efforts. Yet, to be successful, more effort should be put forth. Toward that purpose let’s see – from research – the different way ways blogger's are being successful.

Problogger started a project, August 8, 2007 to address that problem. The response was terrific. Read their site to get ideas on how to create more worthwhile blogs. For more ideas, I sought out Helium writers. Here is what some of them have to say about better blogging: (13341 mention of the word blogging in Helium titles) Some of the more appropriate titles are: How to get your blog notices by blog aggregators; another title asks the question: What is a blog aggregator? And still another title this: How to enhance your blog? To read these and more, type in blogging in the google or Bing box or some others search engine box. Helium, in one sense, is a successful blogging place, but since it is also a place of business, it is considered different.

For the third step I decided to improvise. Writing is more fun that way and why it often is as unsuccessful as most blogs are, it does have a purpose. I recommend the following:  Read blogs. Find out what interests other bloggers  have and comment on their blogs. Make them feel they are doing something worthwhile and cheer them on. Be sincere, if you are only being polite so they can comment about your blog, pass the by. Ask yourself, is blogging worth self-evaluating yourself as a fake?

* Find out why you like to blog, what is your purpose and then pursue it.
