The benefits of gender diversity in the workplace

Years ago the workplace had clear boundaries when it came to gender. On the management end, men were typically positioned in the leadership and higher paying jobs, and women were hired for the subordinate positions. Gender diversity in the workplace was minimal, if existent at all.
