Recipes: Delicious milkshakes

Do you love the taste of peanut butter and chocolate? Do your children love the simple taste of Reese cups as an afternoon snack?

Then perhaps you and your children will enjoy a delicious homemade peanut butter and chocolate milkshake.

Ingredients Needed

-1 tub of vanilla ice cream
-1 jar of your favorite brand of peanut butter
-1 bottle of chocolate syrup

-Milk
-1 teaspoon of liquid vanilla
-A blender

1.) Have all your ingredients handy. Spread them out along your cooking space and make sure you have everything you need before beginning.

2.) Scoop out the ice cream into the blender. Depending on how many people you are serving, adjust the amount of ice cream to fit your needs.

3.) Next, pour a bit of milk into the blender. If you have decided to make a large batch of milkshakes by filling up the container, fill up the blender halfway with milk.

4.) Add one teaspoon of the liquid vanilla into the blender. Liquid vanilla is quite strong. So only add one teaspoon of it to your ice cream mixture no matter how much you are making.

5.) Now it is time to add the chocolate. Drizzle the chocolate syrup over your mixture to fit your tastes. Add as much as you would like, but remember to leave room for the yummy peanut butter.

6.) Time to add the last ingredient: peanut butter. Grab a spoon and start scooping out spoonfuls of peanut butter until you are satisfied with the amount. Adding equal amount of peanut butter to match the chocolate is recommended, but not necessary.

7.) Secure the top of the blender and hit the blend (or smoothie) button. Keep mixing the ice cream mixture until everything is thoroughly blended. The amount of blending needed will vary depending on how much you are making.

8.) Now comes the fun part! Pour the ice cream mixture into the glass of your choice and sip away. To add a bit of color to your milkshake, try adding a dollop of whipped cream with a strawberry on top.

I hope you and whoever you make this for enjoy it!
