The Bible is not about our interpretation, rather its to be interpreted correctly in the meaning in which the writers meant it to be. We have to study History and the Art and Science of Biblical interpretation. We cant assume anything until we have depleted our resources and exhausted all of our efforts for if its true then we have much to live or die by.
In Twenty yrs of study I have never found anything that contradicted itself in the Bible. Only a lack of study makes it seem that there are contradictions .

For instance in the old testament we are told to Love our Father and Mothers, How ever when we see Christ tells us that we must hate our parents in order to follow Him in the New testament, we would assume that its a Major contradiction. However if we don't jump to Conclusions and we are willing to Study the Old languages of the Bible we soon find out That in the New Testament Greek The actual word for Hate is Love Less. In other words we must Love Him more than our parents in order to follow Him.
Can you imagine what it would have been like to be a first Century Jew Raised Under the Law and walking away from your Familys Religion, owe what strife and malice it would have created between you and your parents. No wonder Christ said that you must love Him more, for there would be many a falling out.

We have to realize that the Bible is the most Historical and Scientifically correct Book ever written. Many times it has been challenged, but with the light and age of scientific enlightenment it indeed always proves itself Devinely written
with facts that are irrefutable.

Some food for thought. Can you imagine being one of Christs Half Brothers as James,Gal 1:19 ( KJV ) But other of the apostles saw I none, save James the Lord's brother. John 7:5 ( KJV ) For neither did his brethren believe in him.

Allways living by the law of the old Testament. You grow up with Him all your life and refuse to belong to His Religious following. Mark 6:3 ( KJV ) Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses , and of Juda , and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.
Then all of a sudden Hes being hung on the cross for no reason of His own Guilt which is recorded in the Old Testament 960 yrs before it happened.
Psalms 22:16 ( KJV ) For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.No one even Had crosses or crucifiction until 70 yrs before.
