Suicide an unforgivable sin?

It is my belief that no sin is unforgivable, I don't know what will happen to those who commit suicide , but I do know that anyone unable , for what ever reason to be held accountable for their sin is forgiven already.

Although I believe that suicide is a selfish act, I also know that some people are unable to face today's realities.

One thing that might determine whether it is forgivable or not is religion. What religion a person is when they commit suicide could play a roll in it.

I personally would never hurt my family like that , but I was blessed with a wonderful family that supports each other when we are down and out ,  I know not everyone has that. But your faith in God and his abilities should alter your attempts at this. If you truly trust him then you must trust that he will see you through everything and help you get back on the right track of life.

I know a lot of people who have committed suicide with out even knowing that, that is what they are doing. Death from Drug over dose is ( in my opinion ) suicide, you know the risks and take them anyway..

The reason so many people think that suicide is an unforgivable sin is, because you can't repent of your sin afterward. But God judges us by our hearts not our words. Paul said that only the unbeliever will stand at the judgment seat of Christ, the believer's sin are cleansed with Christ blood. So therefore your religion would determine if it is unforgivable or not.  And even though suicide would be an act of weak faith,  it wouldn't necessarily mean you have none, just not a strong faith in God.

Some people think that suicide comes from some type of mental illness, then can they be held accountable for their actions? It is not for me to say. that would be up to God.

I have at one point in my life thought about suicide, I wonder if there is anyone who hasn't. But even so , my faith in God and Christ Jesus and my love for my family has always been what I judge what I do from. Could this hurt my family? What would God have me do?  These two questions keep me strong and help me make life altering decisions in my life. Even if I didn't believe in God I still would never hurt those who I love and love me , that way.

So I believe that there are many different factors that would determine whether it was forgivable or not, but one thing is for sure, it is very sad to think that ending your life would be better then to move on to another chapter in it.
