It's almost sad that families could get ruined by greed. In those cases, where blood isn't thicker than money.
Greed comes in the simplest of ways. People see things they don't have and they're jealous. That jealousy slowly becomes greed when they steal and take. It begins from the smallest of things like Stealing a dollar from their parents, but it's never enough. They start stealing ten dollars from their wallets. Before anyone can stop it, they stealing the deeds to their houses. Things don't happen without a reason, everything do. When people don't stop them or themselves, that's when the problems grow. Before something appears, someone has to plan it.
There are children out that there that would choose money over the bonds they had with their family. Taking the house deeds that their parents had but dumping their parents in some far away place. Was there no love between them? How could someone leave their parent like that? Taking whatever they can get before disposing the leftovers. They weren't food. They were the parents that gave them life. At some point or another, a child loved their parent. Families have lived together through bad and happy times. Was there a miscommunication that could have made a child choose money over their parents? Who really knows besides themselves, but this concept was here way before any of us.
Parents may have ignored their children and they steal for attention before it became too exciting to stop. Parents may steal and their children pick up those traits.
There are some parents that come home just to take money from their children and spouse. Beating them up and forcing money from them. Why would they come back just to beat up your family? Have they gone mad? What could have been so bad that they couldn't work instead? When there's a choice between a happy family and a broken family, what would you choose? Why choose a bad choice when you don't even have to. Can't they stay together and work through hard times until everything is alright again. Money should be second or third or even last compared to the family bonds that they share with their family.
There's many other things out there that is better than money. Don't they feel the guilt after what they've done? Don't they feel sad that they're betraying their families? Don't they feel pathetic that the person they're beating up is their family? Problems will always remain if people don't change it.
Money is temptation in it's worst form but it's the lack of attention and discipline that allowed greed into their families and hearts.
