The question of why God does not intervene in the world more often is misleading. This is simply because God DOES intervene - and more frequently than we think. Within this world God continues to work His miracles, whether people believe in Him or not. It is through His intercessions that we see His interventions in this world. Through His human angels, who work on earth among us, God helps.
By human angels, I mean those people whose hearts are filled with only good, for the benefit of all. Those people who are willing to risk their own lives, for the sake of many. Those people who put themselves into the jaws of danger, thinking nothing of their own lives but only thinking about saving as many lives as possible. Such people are used by God, and it is through His heavenly angels who enter us, that God continues to work His miracles.
This was no better illustrated than on that fateful day of September 11. when the Twin Towers were hit in a terrorist attack that shocked and shook the world. As the towers smoked and burned, countless human angels emerged as unsung heroes. As God worked through them, those people of the emergency services, and even members of the public, risked their own lives to save those that where caught and trapped inside the burning towers.
Blue and brown eyed human angels, of every colour and creed, risked their lives in trying to save those who could not save themselves. Countless stories where heard of how the firemen, especially, went into those towers time and again, walking up numerous stairs one by one, like a procession on the march - God's Army.
People told of how these heroic heroes would, in some instances, carry people who where twice their own body weight. Struggling against the intense smoke, heat and the fires - and also the threat of the buildings collapsing upon them at any given moment. Yes, they continued to try and save as many people as possible, simply because they had too.
This was the miracle my friends, that even in times of great adversity and tragedy, God uses His human angels in a way that inspires the human spirit. When evil strikes at the very heart of mankind, which results in tragic events taking place before the watching world, who is it that emerges from the shadows? Who are those strangers who are willing to risk life and limb to save others? Who are those people who continually put themselves in danger, at harms reach? Yes,
