Poetry: Lilacs

“Lilac Utopia”

Robust in aroma, much to my delight,
blooming in color; what a sweet sight.
Sprigs of blossoms gently sway in air,
I, lying in the grass, without any a care.

Creatures, every make, hovering nearby,
to indulge in sweetness under one sky.
Butterflies, ladybugs, hummingbird too,
wonder at the beauty, anxious to ensue.

Slowly rise, grasping bunch in one hand,
aromatic fragrance I think is really grand.

My senses reeling, collecting a bit more,

then scatter bundle of bliss in air to soar.
