My Lord Jesus

You’re a God who answers prayer

Please give me discernment

Render me empathy

And love for those who are hurting,

Yearning for relief

Envelope me with compassion for the unlovable

Releasing your power through my actions

Forgive me for neglecting the ones I overlooked

Open the eyes of my heart

Reveal to me your plan for my life

Consider my strengths

Overlook my weaknesses

Make my way perfect.

Please help me take my mind off of myself

And direct it to people who really need a

Special touch from

Someone

Indeed this is my heart’s desire

Omnipotent one, hear my prayer for those in

Need.
