The economic environment around the world today, though it is tight it is an environment where businesses can succeed.  The economic situation we have today must be addressed individually within each country for their own situation.  They must however realize that their actions will impact other countries in the world.  Today many businesses compete throughout the world and as such the impact of decisions made in each country can and does impact businesses and their success or failure. 

     Creating an environment for businesses to succeed is one that I believe is not difficult but it requires difficult choices to be made.  Businesses today must know what their future holds with regards to actions by governments which will impact the way they do business and the costs of continuing to do business.  Businesses do not like uncertainty and when it is unclear as to what the next year will bring regarding such things government regulations and taxes they are leery of making future investments or hiring additional workers.

     The business environment currently in place around the world requires changes to address uncertain conditions that are within the scope and authority of governments to change.  Regulations and taxes are two things that affect businesses decisions around the world.  The tightness of the world economy has not been and will not be an easy thing to reverse.  Every country has objectives to address their own situations but the actions taken by each country can impact the rest of the world.  Granted not all businesses compete in the world market as some just compete in their own country though this I feel is becoming less prevalent.  To survive today businesses must compete in new markets to have the potential of having new customers.

    The tightness of the economy has created conditions which must be addressed with innovative ideas and sometimes with ideas that have worked in the past.  Any business person will tell you times are hard but there are certain products that people cannot do without.  One of these is food.  Everyone must eat.  Businesses that furnish basic needs have an easier time but they also have conditions that must be addressed.  When people have less money they spend less.  This causes a reduction of business and profit.
