How to Get Free Business Cards
An important aspect of growing your business is to make your presence known to potential clients. Utilizing business cards is an effective way to market your business.
Business cards have been used for centuries and are a great way to leave an impression that lasts long after you've handed them out. It is important to make sure your business cards are high-quality and customized to reflect your specific business. Unfortunately professionally-printed business cards can be costly. The good news is that obtaining business cards does not have to devour the company budget. Some printing companies offer free business cards. Here is a snapshot of what four online companies are currently offering:
Vistaprint: Visit www.vistaprint.comand choose among 30 free, customizable business card templates. Each free business card is printed with a Vistaprint logo on the back. If you prefer to have your business cards printed without their logo, you can pay a small fee to have it removed. They do offer premium cards for a price, but there is no difference between premium and free business cards with regard to quality. Both are printed on 80 lb. cardstock. Free business cards can be ordered in quantities of 250 at a time.
Print Runner: The free business card offer is not clearly visible from Print Runner’s home page. Take note of the entire URL, www.printrunner.com/free-designer.aspx, when visiting their Web site to customize your free business cards. Print Runner vows not to print their logo on the back of your business cards. They offer several hundred designs from which to choose for your free business cards. Free business cards are offered in quantities of 250 and are printed on premium card stock.
BIZCard: If you are looking for a wide variety of templates for your free business cards, visit www.bizcard.com. BIZCard offers over 400 business card templates from which to choose and customize for your free business cards. The cards are printed on 110 lb. cardstock and are available in standard size (3.5” x 2”) or in a slim size (3.5” x 1.5”). The free cards are offered in quantities of 250 with a matte finish. BIZCard has a wide selection of free products in addition to business cards, including magnets, letterhead and invitations.
D.C.P. Printing: Keeping consistent with the competition, you can order free business cards in quantities of 250 from www.dcp-print.com. Customers can either upload their own designs or choose from the 27 free templates offered. Free business cards are printed on 110 lb. paper with a matte finish. D.C.P. Printing prints their logo on the back of each free business card, but they offer an option to remove it for a nominal fee. They also offer other products for free in limited quantities, such as stickers and postcards.
There is a caveat or two to mention. First, shipping charges must be paid by the customer on all of these free business card offers. Second, each company wedges in plenty of up-selling techniques throughout the customization and checkout stages. Beware of these temptations; else they will rack up a very nice checkout charge for you.
Now that you are aware of these free business card printing resources, order yours today and make sure that everyone knows your business.
