Loneliness is one of the worst feelings in the world. Sometimes, there's nothing that can bring you out of it until something good happens to you, to enlighten the world around you again.
You feel like nothing is going right and you draw yourself into a deep dark hole making yourself feel yet more lonely. Sometimes bringing you to the point that you feel hopeless and helpless and lose interest in doing other things you would or should, normally be doing . You sit there and you pout and you think about to many things at once and concentrate on the negative instead of concentrating on the positive.
It sucks the life out of you and you find yourself in tears for no reason. You miss someone you lost no matter if it's a spouse or friend due to various reasons such as death or just parting ways or alone because someone you love is not with you at the moment and has gone away for a while . Or you could be lonely just because your lonely of being lonely.
It takes on various forms ... and in comes in many different ways. You can be sitting in a room with your closest friends and still feel lonely. Sitting there not really listening to what their all talking about and wanting to be somewhere else instead and yet don't leave because you will feel more lonely if you do.
Loneliness takes it's toll over time and you will start to age more faster then you would if your happy. Your posture will start to fade and you could start to gain weight and you just don't seem to care because you dwell on the fact that your so lonely that you can't hear the rain because of the thunder.
It's hard to decipher exactly why some people get more lonely then others in different circumstances. It's all in the way each single person thinks and how they handle life in general.
Loneliness can become so bad that it brings you into a deep depression and then you are so lost that you find it hard to see the light again.
Sitting all alone in a room for days on end can bring on loneliness in away that no one understands unless they been their themselves.
Grieving for a lost soul mate is so painful that you look over to where they use to sit or remember how they use to hold you and never will again and you get so lonely that you just can't seem to concentrate on the good you shared together.
Others are so lonely just to be held ...to be loved... and to feel wanted if they are without.
No matter the different ways anyone feels loneliness it's hard to get threw those moments alone but you can and you will . In time you will be happy again, but you can't look back on yesterday and continue to feel the loneliness that took away your smiles or you will miss out on today and even more, when tomorrow comes you'll miss out on that to.
