Into Elysium
I have felt Elysium, in my heart this kingdom,
Drawn in by such gravity into another reality.
A sweetness.a coming home...nevermore to feel alone
Though I barely understand., I reach out and take your hand.
No matter what may come, .take me to Elysium.
I have seen Elysium, in me its dominion.
Seized despite my resistance, ravished by its insistance
A longing too great to bear, bidding me enter if I dare.
Though I will completely come undone, take me to Elysium.
I have heard Elyisium , in the thunder of distant drums..
In the murmurs of the departed, the weeping of the brokenhearted..
In my own trembling breath, surrendering to a love stronger than death.
Stirs the words of a song yet unsung. Take me to Elyisium.
I have touched Elysium, where the two becomes the one.
Where the desired becomes the captured and longing turns to rapture.
Where flesh and spirit meet. and their passion is bittersweet..
I have been conqured, my conquest won. Take me to Elysium.
I have known Elysium..in fields where my spirit runs.
In oceans of perception with crashing waves. In solemn stillness like a grave..
Everything I am is torn asunder, stripped of all I stand in wonder.
Past the ending to what has begun.Take me to Elysium.
I have encountered Elysium, in bright courtyards under the sun.
In halls of stone with moonlight gleaming.. In the place between wake and dreaming.
In a moment of choice and chance, a voice calls to me, "Join the dance."
I fall in his arms, .the music's begun..Take me to Elysium.
I have envisioned Elysium. In my despair this kingdom comes.
A fortress when I am so afraid..In the darkness its light displayed.
In the prisim of my tears this comforter appears..
Wrapped in epiphany, this love that transforms me,
That I have rested my heart upon. Take me to Elysium.
I have tasted Elysium, in rivers of honey upon my tounge.
Sated by the choicest wine and sweet bread from the divine.
My soul drinks the cup of your impassioned kiss. To feast at your banquet my only wish.
Whisper to me of the agony and ectasy to come. Take me to Elysium.
I have gone to Elysium where the crystal river runs
It has swept away my soul. I am out of all control.
Yet I will find you on the street The places where we used to meet.
Iin brightest light or darkness deep Wide awake or lost in sleep.
Sweet and silent will I come .whispering, "When your life is done....I'll take you to Elysium."
