I used to look at you like a mentor, a brother a friend
You understood who I was and who I wanted to be
You accepted all my flaws and embraced the best of who I am
You were there for the highs but never left for the lows
I didn't expect to feel what I'm feeling
I guess apart of me has known all along
It's been you from the beginnging
The whole time you've had my heart
I've tried to share with others but none compare to you
Because how can I give to another what already belongs to you.

Poetry: More than just friends
by Dylan Ehle
Four Colors:
They were parting ways at the end of high school
Ten long years ago
They knew their friendship would never be
by Ilyan Theara
I use to
I use to think of you as a sister
Your heart always opened for everyone to abuse
Dreaming of beautiful ideals yet
Wouldn't it be so very romantic
If we bemoaned our lack of lovers
Discussed together our quests so frantic
To solve
Passionate friends is what we are.
Laughter and tears are what brought us here.
Naturally and consistently we followed
YOU SAY WE'RE JUST FRIENDS
You say we're just friend and I believe you
that's OK as long as we kiss the way that we do
you
