Do prayers work

"DO PRAYERS WORK" Is a question I can most certainly answer ~ YES and ALWAYS.  You simply need to believe that God does exist...even if you are so down and out, you feel your prayers do not go beyond your ceiling!  We ALL pray for something at one time or another....Please, Lord, heal my sick child...I need a job, money, new car, new home, a spouse, a child, to be forgiven, to help me to forgive others, to be as good as you created me to be, to win, to have favor, do not let me get a ticket, heal me and spare my life...the list of things we pray for is ENDLESS!  Most all of us have prayed for something important to us and then, we see no results...sometimes NOTHING seems to happen, so we rather quickly assume that the answer is "NO", or perhaps our prayers were not truly heard...it is human & most simple to come to these conclusions.

The truth is, God ALWAYS answers prayers, even for the most trite things we can conjure up to request.  We do not always have or see the results of them being answered in the time frame we are thinking of & hoping for.  And, our prayers are usually never answered in exactly the way in which we imagine they will be.  There are some things you must keep in mind when going to prayer over something.  God's timing is PERFECT, ours is not!  He knows the number of hairs on our head, the number of days we shall live, every single event in our future which we cannot begin to know or see.  His ways are not our ways, His thoughts are not our way of thinking and no man can ever know the Mind of God.  He promises to give us the desires of our heart, providing they are not harmful to us or to other people.  God has no limits, and nothing is too hard for Him!  I guess it would be fair to say that we must first believe that He exists, and He says if we have faith the size of a mustard seed (do you even know how tiny a "mustard seed" actually is?), that we can MOVE MOUNTAINS with that amount of faith!  Suffice it to say, we must also come to Him with at least some measure of faith.  Faith is the substance of things hoped for, but not yet seen...in other words, faith is blind.  It is trusting and both believing in something we cannot touch or see, yet we KNOW without a single doubt is there, just like oxygen.  So, we first must believe (have faith) that God actually exists and that He can do what He says He can...He says ALL things are possible for those who
