Shane McMahon is one of the most powerful people in the professional wrestling industry. He has learned a great deal from his father Vincent Kennedy McMahon. Vince is the owner of the most powerful and influential professional wrestling company in the world, World Wresting Entertainment. Many people expected Shane to take over the company from his father as the only son in the family. However, at the end of 2009, professional differences caused a falling out in the family. This family disagreement could very much work to the advantage of TNA wrestling.

Shane is well aware of the business practices that his father used to become so successful. Shane has been part of the Internet media department and expanding the global influence of his father company for the last several years. This means that he is more than capable of helping TNA to expand into becoming a profitable company. Shane has shown interest in entering the promoting side of professional wrestling or other sports for the last several years. He has a more aggressive approach than his father when it comes to athletic competition.

Shane has shown tremendous interest in ultimate fighting as well as other martial arts company structures. THis would imply that he is more than willing to change the way that TNA wrestling would be promoted. There are many people within the current infrastructure of TNA that are comfortable working with Shane. The fact that Hulk Hogan has created influence in the company and story line scripting power also works well for the idea of Shane joining the company. This is because Hogan and the younger McMahon have always had a very positive relationship with each other.

Adding a McMahon influence to into the promotional side of TNA has no negative effects. Shane is willing to do anything to help the company he is passionate about. There is no better way to send a message to his father about state of his ability to be a promoter them to join the competition. There are also those that believe that there are sinister motivations behind the problems in McMahon family. If Shane were to infiltrate the company and find out the weaknesses within the management structure only to go back to his father’s company in the future, this would be a great strategy against the competition.

There is also the option that Shane could be used as an on-air talent. This would definitely spark the interest of fans that are well aware of his relationship to the most powerful family in professional wrestling. Therefore, any on-air performance by Shane would most likely make the fans pay closer attention than they have previously.
