"The Enemy Within"
" Have I sighed cried lied died.? I have compromised, disguised and realized."
Welcomed birth life and breath, equally shall I welcome death,
" Pain" I try to hide " Explain" where do I begin, somewhere deep inside, is the enemy within.
Silently I cry for peace and tranquillity, In my mind fallen Heroes constant memory.
Freedom from evil freedom for all, crippled or broken Heroes still answer the call.
An author of whom I have learned a great deal, David C. Simpson penned what was real,
Witnessed himself with heart wrung drenched tears, sights of extreme don't fade with the years.
Thank God now our world has developed to care, our grief pain and heartache lessened by share,
Love and friendship has won a weapon so strong, nurse the enemy within we shall right the wrong.
