Bouquet of loveliness given with care,
ripplin’ petals explode with such flare.
Powdery pinkish, emit aromas sublime,
carnations delight since the start of time.
Colors of the rainbow, they can be found,
In every corner of the earth to so astound.
Red, white, variegated, shop – painted too,
even on the Fourth of July doused in a blue.
Waving so wistfully among fields green,
smiling up to heaven, they must be seen,
as one of our God’s true purest creations,
forever bestowing such blissful elations.
