Despite assertions to the contrary, the Tea Party movement as evidenced by their vociferous protests, have largely been fueled by their fear of change. They will deny that having a black president has anything to do with it, but nothing could be further from the truth. Their xenophobic reactions to President Obama speaks volumes. In the history of our country, no other president’s eligibility for the office of president has so obstinately been challenged. After producing a certified birth certificate, and other documentation of citizenship, they still question whether the president is a citizen.
