Poetry: Through the eyes of a child

by Bethany Auchter

Created on: February 16, 2010

The Ocean In Her Eyes

when I stand
where Earth meets Sky,
waves reaching the shore

and I know there is more
in this World than what greets the eye.

but I am even more mesmerized
by my child's face
and the reflection of the ocean in her eyes.
