I dare you to pursue your dreams,
pushing the limits until
your heart bursts at the seams.
I dare you to get involved, genuinely care,
reject apathy, adopt empathy,
abandoning all fear.
I dare you to act courageously,

rise up from their plight.
I dare you to be brave, live life unafraid,
owning and embracing

I dare you to reach out and seize each new day,

And he cried with my brother and me
Hoping she would come home any day
And wanting things
