I want to just start by saying that I have no idea who is really making the money at sites like Clickbank. I would like to know who does, and if you really can make money for free or if paying for advertisements from places like Google Adworks is necessary to collect profits. I am not talking about the actually vendor using Google Adworks versus using Clickbank, that is for another article, I want to know if the affiliates at Clickbank need to spend ad dollars to really be successful?
I began to ask myself this question after looking at some of the more popular things to promote at Clickbank. A lot of them seemed to be promoting the same thing. They all seemed to be telling you to look into Clickbank or sites similar to Clickbank in order to make money. Either as a vendor selling a product or by being an affiliate and advertising someone else's products. Let me just briefly say that I am assuming that readers of this article are familiar with Clickbank and sites like it. If you are not please take a minute to check out Clickbank so I can avoid trying to explain how it works.
So here was how I saw things progressing at Clickbank. You are on line looking to make money working from home and you click on an ad for a product and you spend the $80 to buy the product. The affiliate and the vendor who may be using Clickbank each get paid. You get the product and it explains how to either sell similar advice using Clickbank and/or how to promote similar advice at Clickbank. You then become either one or both of the people you have just supported. Can this cycle really go on forever?
I do believe that if you are a vendor selling a product on a site like Clickbank you have nothing to lose. As far as I can tell it only will cost you $50 to sell any number of products. That is a very small advertising budget for any business. If you or someone you know are making money using Clikbank or any other similar site please let me know. I am interested to find out if it is easier to make money as a vendor or as an affiliate.
My Dad used to say that there is a SUCKER born every minute. If that is true, are you a sucker for buying into the hype at sites like Clickbank or are you a sucker if you do not?
Here are some of the most popular products at Clickbank if you would like to see exactly what they offer:
Entrepreneurship. E-Business/Advertising. E-Business. E-Business/Auctions. Business & Investing.
