 Knight in Shining Armor

Somewhere in my dreams

There is a valiant knight

Immaculate, silvery armor

On a stallion brilliant white

How rugged yet, handsome

How elegant yet, strong

I've been yearning for this moment

I've been waiting, oh, so long

He takes me in his arms

Sweeps me off my feet

Whispering love expressions

As our lips softly meet

It was happily ever after

While we danced beneath the moon

All the while I dread knowing

I will have to wake up soon

And every night I go to sleep

To forget reality’s schemes

I know my knight is there waiting
