The character of Christ himself lends itself to one that is loving and caring and full of concern for others. A person that takes others well being into account long before he takes into account his own feelings and concerns. So the enemy of such character would tend to be the exact opposite of this type of person. These enemies would revel in their own lifestyle of self interest and lack of any concern for their fellow man. We have had far too many examples of this type of person in our history. It has been demonstrated that there are thousands upon thousands of people on this planet that attack the very notion of a messiah that came to us some 2010 years ago.
