Posted The Origin of The Species Thoughts Each Day

Article 1.

This is a running daily thought and review available to all Web Readers, to help any who wish to discover ideas about the organized and published theory of evolution – The Origin of The Species – By Natural Selection. Each article will discuss and describe one page of this book, after condensed summaries of the preface and introduction sections.

It has an unfortunate extra subtitle: The Preservation of Favored Races in the Struggle for Life.

These terms “Favored Races” have been applied by insidious leaders and followers to divide and destroy modern society. I would choose an alternate title: Preservation of Species in the Struggle for Life.

Here begins the continual response to those people and factions in our world that wish to function under the premise that belief systems trump decision making liberty. Modern liberty and modern democracy require a little more effort and vigilance to maintain. Persistent public education is a better response than bending the terms and definitions contained in the Bill of Rights and allowing a determined effort to quiet scientific endeavor by drowning public education in a deluge of dictated myth. Part of the flood is directed against the idea of evolution.

There are those who will ignore something just because it is a theory. This is a theory based on irrevocable facts collected by Charles Darwin and observers before and after him. No one can sustain an argument based on circular reasoning and purposeful misrepresentation of the facts guiding the science of evolution. Inevitably, we respond to facts, objects, and events with human feeling.

Belief systems relate to science with regards to clarity and emotional direction and application. It is irrelevant whether we believe the universe changes around us. It does so without our permission or general input. Our species influences the local universe of planet earth by its actions, and little more. This frightens some people as much as isolated islanders may be frightened of current aircraft.

Nonetheless, this is my attempt to convince the rest of our world that evolution persists amd is worth understanding.

This response set will contain reflection, albeit some opinion, about how to spread the facts and review Charles Darwin's The Origin of the Species, page by page. I am a responsible student of science, an amateur evolutionary observer, a professional in office automation and service
