Once upon a time in your home some time in the future a leak is going to occur on your roof. Here in the Metro Vancouver region it rains 9 months of the year so the chances that your roof leaks without your expectation is very high. When the leak occurs you tend to panic and call the first roofer with the letter A in the yellow pages.

All you want is the leak to stop, so a repair is one choice you have. It is pretty simple when it comes to roofing. If your roofing contractor or company did your roof in the last ten years and your roof is leaking then the problem will never go away. It is a workmanship error and the same problem exists throughout your roof. If your roof is older than fifth teen years and is leaking than its time for a new roof. Don’t get me wrong a roof has the potential to last a lifetime. These are issues no home owner has ever discussed with me yet it is probably the first spot the roof will leak when the roof begins to leak
