Knowledge Defined

I know...

That you know...

That you know...

That I know...

That we all know ... Absolutely Nothing!

We have a general awareness

A possesion of facts

Truths, principles, ideas

A know-how of this and that

Through experience and study

Understanding is gained

Wisdom and discernment

The best qualities to attain

An abundance of information

Learned throughout time

Years and years of happenings

Filed away in our minds

But yet most remarkably

Most noteworthy of all

With all the knowledge we have

We barely know anything at all

We've just scratched the surface

Hardly opened the book

There's still so much to know

If we take the chance to look

The opportunies are endless

To learn what life's about

What wonderful things to discover

If knowlegde we seek out
