The Toyota makers have two great trucks for 2010. The Toyota Tundra, and the Tacoma. So with two models from the same automobile maker which truck to choose is the only question. The only way to choose the Toyota that is right for you is to compare the pros and cons from both models.
The 2010 Toyota Tacoma is a top choice for those in the market for a mid-size truck. With a variety of trims and body styles to choose from the Tacoma will cost consumers almost $8,000 less than the Tundra. The 2010 Tacoma offers a powerful V6 engine that is fuel efficient and has excellent off road capabilities. The Tacoma offers great safety features and received a five star rating in government testing.
In terms of safety the factory direct Tacoma offers stability and traction controls, anti-lock brakes, dual air bags, and hill start assistant controls. Sounds great but, the Tacoma does have its flaws. The Tacoma has been noted to have low seating, a spongy brake pedal, and even though the V6 engine is powerful consumers may notice it can get real noisy.
The Toyota Tacoma is a great mid size truck for consumers regardless of its few flaws it is a buyers delight when comparing features to price.
The new 2010 Tundra is a full size powerhouse pick up. With a starting factory price of $23,500 this is another great truck with available add on features.
The 2010 Tundra offers consumers trim packages to add luxury features to their full size truck. Also, the Tundra is available in three body styles.Whether you need a crew cab, an extended crew cab, or just get a standard cab there is a Tundra available for you in 2010.
The Tundra offers a strong V8 engine, with a six speed transmission, and a spacious cabin so no matter what you needs are you can customize your new Toyota Tundra to fit your daily lifestyle.
As with the Tacoma the Tundra also has a few flaws. The Tundra has some interior design missteps and the Tundra has been noted to feel larger than it actually is and offers a rougher ride then those in previous years.
When deciding between the Tacoma and the Tundra one must weigh the pros and cons along with price. Both trucks offer added luxury features, enhance safety features, and a variety of styles and packages. The big difference between these two trucks is the $8,000 difference and weather you want a full size or a mid size truck. No matter what truck you choose Toyota has outdone themselves in 2010 with two excellent truck models.
