Once we are Christians we all can experience divine intervention from God. Even the non- Christians every now and again experience divine intervention from God because “He maketh His sun to rise on the evil and on the good and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust” (Mt. 5:45 KJV). In my own life as a Christian, I have experienced God’s divine intervention in my life many times. These interventions came to me in the forms of protection, guidance, financial breakthroughs, healing and deliverances from demonic attacks.
Concerning divine protection, one day while standing at a bus stop awaiting a bus the Lord spoke to me very clearly and told me to remove from where I was standing. This He did for several times because at that time in my life I did not know how to discern the voice of God as I was young in the faith. After removing from where I was standing, after a minute a car overturned and crashed at the same spot where I was previously standing. The accident happened so fast that I knew that if I was still standing at that same spot I would have been killed instantly. This is only one of God’s divine interventions in my life for protection.
I travel on planes without fear of my life because I know I am protected by a higher power. God has met my financial needs many times. Sometimes while praying about a financial need secretly to God, persons would just walk up and put money into my hands. Sometimes they would make me know that it was the Lord who told them to give me this amount of money. Other times they would just come, place certain amounts into my hand and walk away without saying a word.
Throughout the Word of God, we see God's divine intervention for His people. It was during the wilderness march that the people of Israel experienced much of God’s divine intervention. God supernaturally fed them with manna. God supernaturally caused water to gush from a rock to give His people drink. He supernaturally gave them light in the wilderness by fire in the night and led them in the daytime by means of the cloud. When the children of Israel obeyed God’s voice and attacked Jericho, the Lord supernaturally moved and caused the walls of Jericho to fall down thus giving His people victory over their enemies.
The more we spend time with God is the more we will experience supernatural outpourings. One of the best ways for me to experience supernatural favors from God is by spending quality times of worship with God privately. Whenever I worship God, I begin to walk under an open heaven. My needs are met more rapidly and also I am able to discern the voice of God easily.
