Many people don't actually know who Michael Jackson really was behind all the hectic stories made by the media. He was a mystery that no one could ever solve, but one thing was certain: He was a pop icon. He may have different faces, but we can not judge someone by their looks. It would actually be against our morals.

Michael Jackson was a man who created exotic music, and lead the pop world into a world of magic. He established the idea that music is a true art through his music video/short film "Thriller". He shook the world by his incredible dance moves. He was an adorable little boy when he was part of the Jackson 5 along with his brothers. He was a man who artists still look up to today.

This man was more than just an artist, he was an icon. He had written and composed songs beautifully to entertain all sorts of people. He was a true genius during his time of youth and till his very last breath. No one could mount up to the amount of success he did. He was someone we can only find once in a century.

He was very well respected, and people just loved him. Though he has done many things that has surprised many, he was still loved. He was someone who did courageous things, but that was his way of living and being unique. He was an individual, and he should be respected for that very fact. He has brought many styles to the table including: types of clothing, and types of music.

His clothing was obviously unique. He had his own style that everyone thought was incredible, and they soon wanted to wear what he wore; however, he did have very expensive taste. He spent millions of dollars on things that he most wanted and desired. He was put down because of this, but some thought he did this because he couldn't have those things during his childhood.

His music created the twenty-first century. He showed the world what music was supposed to be. He was someone who also entertained the critics because he had so many hits. Not only that, but he was in the record book for writing the first song to ever be on the top 100s chart that was new. His music entertained his fans, and kept them wanting more.

Michael Jackson was also a very generous man. He gave millions away to charity. He didn't have to, but he did anyway. He said he gave away so much because he loved children and he didn't have much of a childhood due to his career at a young age. This had a huge impact on his career because he was in the records for giving to the most charities, and his status grew larger. He showed artists that fame and fortune is not only for themselves, but needs to be shared among the poor.

He was a pop icon because everyone today seems to look up to him. They dream of following his footsteps, and to reach the amount of success he had. He was a leader of the pop world, and he was the real founder behind the pop music today. He introduced many past and still present famous singers and they are most thankful to him. He was a legend, a generous man, a loving man, and a pop icon.
