The friend zone.  Every nice guy who's actively dating and socializing with women has, at some point, probably ended up in this dreaded state of being.  He wants to escalate the intimacy, and she wants to tell him all about the other guys she's seeing-because he's such a great friend! Chances are, you've known a few bad boys who never seem to end up in the friend zone, and playing it a little bad can start to look pretty good.

Should a good guy go bad?

First of all, being a nice guy is not a bad thing-in fact, most women prefer to marry the nice guy, which is great news for you if there's a woman you've got your eye on.  Bad boys are for fun, for the roller coaster excitement of emotional highs and lows-which eventually lead to burnout.  It's not so much a question of turning into a bad guy, but you can steal from the playbooks of baddies everywhere.  Since you're a guy in the friend zone, it's all a question of getting your female friend to see you as a potential mate.  

Mistakes good boys make that bad boys don't

Good guys show themselves as nonthreatening from the beginning (which is a great way to get their foot in the door), but the longer they keep being nonthreatening and friendly, while creating an emotional bond (friendship), the more likely they are to be seen as the 'guy friend'.  Good guys wear their hearts on their sleeves.  If they like a woman, they are more likely to put all of their cards on the table from the beginning.  They show all of their good qualities upfront, and they are big on compliments and praise of their girl. Some women just love this sweet and romantic courtship stuff, but if you're in the friend zone, your girl needs more of a man, and less of a friend!  

Bad guys are desirable

No, you don't have to be bad to make your girl fall for you.  You have to use those bad boy tricks to get your girl to see you as her man.  Bad guys hold back.  They don't always call, they aren't always accessible. This is annoying, but it's also thrilling for the girl.  Until you're in a relationship with your girl, in which you create mutual rules, there's nothing wrong with playing a bit 'bad' to get her to see you differently.  Bad guys are desirable because they are a challenge, and it's often easy to create this challenge without doing anything nefarious.  It could be as simple as getting a little busy-even dating other girls.
