I Miss You My Friend
I miss you my friend
Without any warning
You were carried away like seeds in the wind
Gone forever, in the prime of life
Our time together was so short
Even though you were robbed
Of a long life
And I of a best friend
Our time together was long enough for you
To make a lasting impression
On my life
As to what true friendship really is
I miss you my friend
Never had a friend quite like you
Never will again
I made a promise to you while you lay dying
That when we meet again I shall seek you out before all others
If only to see your whiskers blowing in the breeze
One last time
I miss you, my friend. I love you.

Poetry: Missing someone
Every time I hear your name
A tear comes to my eye
My heart wasn't ready
When my lips said goodbye
I'm sitting here
by Ryan Hart
I just want to hold you,
is that really so wrong?
And tell you what he never told you,
you have waited so long.
I just want
When you left,
I thought I would be strong,
Needless to say I've never been so wrong;
Everything in my life,
Was going down
by S. C. Mask
"Our Love Reaches"
Time touches me from across the ocean's vast
It whispers songs of seconds passed
Each moment without and
by Toni Davis
"Still"
Time has not diminished
faded
take n away
nor removed my love for you
and vice versa
18 months and you're still here
whispering
