Summer without a barbecue cookout would be like a beach without sand. Barbecue cookouts are what go hand in hand with summer time.  Barbecuing on a grill, fire-pit, or any other kitchen commodity outdoors is simply bringing our kitchen outside to enjoy nature's offerings of warmth and Vitamin D from the sun that rejuvenates our being. We also gain great satisfication from the opportunity of the freedom to cook outside without feeling the restrictions of cooking indoors with limitations of where the grease is going, if the smoke will sound the fire alarm and being confined to the kitchen while it is beautiful outside.

Barbecue cookouts are truly an integral part of summer because it embraces the season that celebrates the freedom to spend the day outdoors enjoying the temperatures and traditional ways of preparing foods at its best.Grilling outdoors and filling the air with the aroma of slowly cooked ribs, chicken and other great foods on a barbecue is the true essence of summer. That amazing smell of food cooking on a barbecue lures and excites the senses for everyone. It is the liberating sense that we can go outside enjoy the warmth and freedom to cook and eat outdoors while embracing nature at its best; which is summer. Summer simply brings a happy feeling and cooking freely on the grill outdoors simply adds to that stimulation. Barbecues cookouts carry a special way of bringing family and friends together. The flames of the grill, the aroma of the scrumptious, fiery smoky taste of foods that are prepared on  the grill are priceless in comparison to foods prepared indoors.  Barbecuing requires patience and gives the cook time to enjoy family or friends while preparing the edibles for all. It offers a time of fellowship, food, fun and freedom.

Simply put summer has its own way of bringing gladness and joy to people. Food is another way of sharing love while nourishing the body with nutrients and filling our bellies with delicious prepared grilled foods that were prepared with patience and joy. Something barbecued is always better than something fried, boiled or baked. Sunshine is causal to a good mood, happiness and vibrancy. Waiting and watching food being prepared on the barbecue stimulates the senses and truly awakens our hunger as we stand by the grill and the chef doing the grilling.

What would summer be without grilling? It would feel as though something were missing. When the warm weather approaches the grills are being readied for the outdoor excursion of cooking. Summer prompts people to want to be outdoors hence; cooking is a part of our daily lives. If we are spending our days outdoors in our backyards, on our patio decks or in a park it is natural to want to cookout to continue enjoying the long days of sunshine, warmth and rejuvenation.

Barbecue cookouts truly draw people together. There is something about the smell of food cooking on a grill that brings a smile to ones face. Summer and cookouts are a marriage made in grill heaven.
