I sit with eyes wide open
Filled with tears I can’t explain
The lonely days turn into nights
I slowly go insane
Tangled thoughts take over
A mind that’s filled with doubt
I wish that I could tell you
But the words just won’t come out
With all my heart I wonder
How we’ve grown so far apart
I live my days without you
And I don’t know where to start
Stuck between the distance
Of healing and regret
With all my heart I pray sometimes
That I could just forget.
Forget how much I miss you
How much I need you here
Anger fades to sorrow
Pride gives into fear
Promises left empty
Broken dreams we threw away
With all my heart I search for words
That might have made you stay
I still don’t have the answers
All I really know
Is with all my heart I love you
So tonight, I’ll let you go.

longing fingers
into the eddy that swirls
into the current moving
downstream.
With all my heart I promise to love you forever.
With all my heart I promise to be faithful and caring

You were always quick with an encouraging word,
maybe that's why I want the best for you,
with all my heart.
