Chapter I. Ruins Amidst Chaos

My vision was fuzzy, and I was cold. I was wet, why was I wet? A cold sensation swept over my body as I realized I couldn't breathe, but it quickly subsided when my eyes came to. I was underwater, the coldness, it wasn't the water. I gazed at the wound in my chest and an arrow lay hanging out, like a dart on a board.
