Days pass by
By hours,
Speeding mindlessly down the road.
Before we know it, life as we see
Is gone like a summers warm breeze.
Linger for just a moment,
Maybe, smell the breathe of a rose,
Or stop for just one second
And simply enjoy
The beauty found
Within the clouds.
Take a moment to linger
In the freedom and the peace.
Linger in every moment of your life.
Taste it, breathe it and live it,
Linger,
As we are only given one life.

Poetry: Linger
by Nusiris
Annointed by chill waters
(the stream
in the town
that is
home.)
I hope that sorrow
glistens down
my arms
my legs
and every part
Days pass by
By hours,
Speeding mindlessly down the road.
Before we know it, life as we see
Is gone like a summers warm
On a breath of wind, it comes
We linger, we wait
To see what it becomes
Hoping, hoping, to know our fate
We linger, we pause
A PLACE TO LINGER
There is a place I like to linger,
a place where shadows flee away,
where the air is sweet and fragrant
by Pamela Folks
There is a scent that lingers in the air.
It hovers just above the senses,
Just out of reach.
Your fingertips can't touch
