Sigil magic is a wonderful way of localising a mental focus and isolating the necessary resources to get a job done. We all see and use sigils in our daily lives; for example, the Nike symbol needs no wording, nor does the CND symbol. These are all sigils that have condensed an identity into a single logo.

So how are sigils used in your life? Here are three simple steps to producing and using your own sigils.

1) Condense your goal:

These means make the goal a tight and realistic idea. Instead of saying: "I want to be happy", ask yourself what happiness means to you and why are you not happy at the moment. Using sigils works well when you have narrowed down your goal to a fine point. So if your goal for happiness includes a better job, keep on narrowing down the idea. Do you want to be more creative or do you want to have more responsibility? In other words get to the root of your desire and turn that into a sigil. The sigil will work when you have a fully focused and tight desire in mind.

2) Create the sigil:

This is the fun part. Once you have pin-pointed exactly what your goal is then you can work on the sigil itself. There are many ways to do this and sigil making is very personal; there are no hard and fast rules to sigils. It may be the phrase you have chosen as your goal with the key letters placed in a symbol, or the sigil might be a new symbol that to you organises this goal into one simple sigil. Take your time and have fun with this part of the sigil-making process. You want to create a sigil that you only need to glimpse at to be reminded of what you desire.

3) Empower the sigil:

This part is actually very simple. The sigil is already empowered by the intense focus of the narrowing of the goal and the time that you have spent creating the sigil itself. The sigil contains the essence of your goal and is now active as an attraction element in your life. It is a positive essence of your goal and should be carried with you everywhere. Let the sigil draw the fulfilment of the goal to you.

I mentioned that there were no rules to the actual making of the sigil however, here are a few suggestions:

Really work at narrowing down the goal to the lowest denominator. Keep the goal in the 'positive’; so as an example do not sigilise "I don’t want this disease anymore"; rather, turn it around to something like: "My heart is pure and my heart is healthy and strong". Remember your subconscious will see the meaning behind the sigil, so allow it to soak in the positive nature of the sigil. Keep it private. There is no need to go around showing everyone your latest sigil; keep it personal and keep it sacred. Only do what is for the good of yourself and those around you. Sigils used for negative works will backfire; it is very simply a fact of the matter.

So enjoy your sigil-making, take your time, and produce a sigil that practically glows with the essence of positivity and abundance.
