The perfect couple is so intuned to each other, that they move through life as one entity. They realize, that falling in love and living happily ever after, only happens in fairy tales. The perfect couple has learned, that after the fire of falling in love has burnished to a warm glow, they will then stand in love for ever after. Standing in love, means to always be on the lookout for any dangers that might try to storm their fortress. When you stand in love, you have each other's back at all times, and present a mighty defense to any opposition. You become two sides of a coin and no matter what spins you take, you remain inseperable and complete.
Life will undoubtedly present obstacles to every couple, but an ideal couple will learn from these challenges, and grow stronger from the experience. Children are born from this love and need fulltime care. If a couple does not have a strong union, raising a family can be draining to their well of reserve. Without meaning to, children can conquer and divide some couples, by playing one against the other. The perfect couple will recognize this right away and counsel with their child, explaining that they are both the parents and stand as one force and both will always have their childs welfare in their hearts and mind. Extended family members might also try to influence a married couple from each side of the marriage. Or, friends that each of the couple had before they met and formed their union, might still try to seek individual importance, which could cause strife between husband and wife. The wisest couples will let everyone outside their marriage understand that each friend or family member is still loved and respected, but now, they have formed a new and everlasting bond, and have promised their significant other their complete support and loyalty.
The perfect couple, is not two people staying together throughout their lifetime merely for convenience. Some people, particularly in prior generations, remained married for life, even though they rarely spoke to one another. This could be construed as a successful marriage to some, but is far from being the perfect couple.
The essence of two people, spending years together in harmony, and happy just being with one another might seem to be rare, but every so often, is does happen. And when it does, you will see it and know it to be real. They may be seen holding hands, even though they are elderly. Or maybe a husband, or wife, offering anything they can do to help their sick or distressed partner. They want to ease their loved one's burdens whenever they happen to be the strongest of the two at any given time. These mates do not grumble because the other is not doing his or her fair share because they admire and trust them.
All of the traits of a perfect couple can shine, or fade, and shine again throughout life, but will never go away. No person can be full of joy all the time, and problems are to be expected on nearly a daily basis, but the perfect couple knows everything is resolved in due course, because they are standing in love.
