How do we know when our prayers are answered

When you are feeling depressed and out of the blue, a friend calls to see how you are doing. When you are in line at a grocery store, the baby is crying and you are short a dollar on your grocery bill, and the person behind you hands the cashier a dollar to make up for the difference. Prayers are heard and answered everyday if we just pay close attention.

What you think, feel, and believe is the determining factor in whether your prayers are answered or go unanswered. Belief to your prayer is like the wheels on your car, without Bible belief, your prayers are not going anywhere. Natural belief comes next, which deals with the natural realm of things. If you did not believe an airplane would carry you to your destination, you would refuse to get on board. There is belief that is based on the exact opposite of God's promises. There are all kinds of negativity such as fear, worry, and anxiety, which is simply referred to as disbelief.

If your heart and mind are full of belief, which comes from accepting God's word as truth, get ready, God will answer your prayers. " Ask in prayer believing, ye shall receive." (Matthew 21:22)  Can you give me one good reason why we should settle for anything short of all our prayers being answered? Unless you decide to focus on the good God has for you, your mind will turn to negativity. Fear, worry, failure, and disaster will rob you of God answering or hearing your prayer. Remove these thoughts from your mind.

If you believe God is answering your prayer, he is, and if you doubt God is answering, that is exactly what happens. It is just as simple as that. God answers prayers according to his will, and always in your best interest. Let your thoughts be on love, success, good health, happiness, prosperity, and peace of mind. This kind of thinking and believing brings full fruition of your prayers. When our prayer is just a thought in our mind, we receive our answer from God.

We can be sure if the prayer is for our best, God has already given his answer. We are completely responsible for the answers we receive, whether it is yes, or whether it may be no. In prayer, you cannot make it happen with God's help. God will not  answer your prayer without you doing your part. If there is anything standing in your way or hindering you from getting your prayers answered, it is you yourself, so change by accepting the answer and by believing that God is doing his part on your behalf. No one has the power to think and do for you. If you are planting in your mind the good thought seeds and acting upon them, then God has answered and our harvest of blessings will shower us everyday.
