IS LOVE ENOUGH
When your life gets hard and rough
Do you ever wonder is love enough.
When you think of a man that died on a hill
He died for you and his cries are heard still
.His back was scourged with whips and as he felt the pain.
Did he doubt his love for you under the strain.
When they drove the spikes through his hands and feet.
Did he cry? “Father I can’t do this I’m to weak.”
He carried the cross and your sins on himself.
So you could be loved and receive it yourself.
He gave you a gift worth more than you know.
Everlasting life he did bestow.
His head was blood red from his crown of thorns.
Jesus never denied you as his flesh was torn.
So, when life seems hard and tough.
Think! Would Jesus ask, is love enough?
