Forty hours ogling on the tic tock
And forty more winks frazzling over this foe,

With the ball never in my courtyard
Trying getting ahead, I struggle keeping up
Endless run, tired and wary dexterity
I shall perhaps envy the dead and the unborn
For life is more than I bargained for
Moreover, my own life despised
But with hope one must cope
Being a strong undefiled soldier
In this battlefield of emptiness
Against the unknown in the vast dense
We siege to devour blindfold
