Heroes remain hidden
in the shadow of the light,
they oft go unrevealed
until wrongs need setting right.
Heroes display bravery,
instilling admiration,
springing into action
without hesitation.
Concerned with helping others,
self-preservation aside,
inspiring by their actions,
filling hearts with pride.
We are all potential heroes,
we need only heed the call,
to take a stand, and demand
fairness and justice for all.
