Salvation and Addiction
Cries of anguish
Once again
My eyes bleed for you
They bleed that clear blood
The blood that doesn't escape
From arms or chest
From legs or lips
From cut or stab
But from the soul
From something I can't grasp
Something I don't control
It bleeds for you
I beg it to stop
But I can't do it
My soul is cutting
Scarring itself with new wounds
Just so It can deal with this
I thought I found it
Where I belonged
Where I was loved
Who meant everything
Who I was cared for by
Who repaid everything I gave
But of course not
Manipulation
The name of the game
All you had to do
Was stop the lies
But it was too much pleasure
The euphoria of my soul
Feeding the sadistic sorrow
That always fed on you
You needed to feel perfect
You needed all the attention
And as I fed that sorrow and sickness
My blind soul attached itself
To something it only imagined
And now as it awakens
Being ripped from what it wants
The blood of the soul flows
It takes control of the mouth
Screaming in anguish and pain
How it crawled back to its addiction
How the addiction let it come back
How my souls pure addiction
Fed the tainted of yours
Love and Hatred
Truth and lies
Salvation and addiction
I looked for one
And found the other
In you
