Does the Bible contain absolute truth or fables and myths?

The debate about truth has been going on for ages.  Philosophers and great thinkers from all walks of life have searched for truth.  Some never find it while others are blessed to know and embrace truth.  In fact, just before His crucifixion, Jesus said to Pilate “To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice”.  Then Pilate said to him, “What is truth?” And when he had said this, he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, “I find in him no fault at all” (John 18:37b-8).

When Pilate said that he found no fault in Jesus, that was a true statement.  But if you link that statement back to what Jesus had said just seconds before, it becomes apparent that Pilate believed Jesus was speaking the truth. If, therefore, Pilate found no fault in the words of Jesus, then Jesus spoke absolute (or “perfect”) truth.

Many people argue that there is no such thing as absolute truth.  But the statement "there is no absolute truth" is itself an absolute truth, which makes such a statement an oxymoron (i.e. the statement contradicts itself).  Absolute truth must exist or else there is no foundation for truth at all.  Many people will argue for relative truth but that argument is illogical.  Regardless of differing viewpoints or opinions, truth is always the same.  Proverbs 12:19 says "The lip of truth shall be established forever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment”. Simple mathematics can be used to illustrate the existence of absolute truth, i.e. two plus two equals four.  Two plus two will always equal four and that is an absolute infallible truth.

The Bible is self-authenticating and self-attesting meaning the  Word of God is internally consistent; that God cannot lie and His Word cannot contradict itself.

Titus 1:2 says “In hope of eternal life, which God, Who cannot lie, promised before the world began”.

Hebrews 6:17-18 says “Wherein God, willing more abundantly to show unto the heirs of promise the immutability [the unchangeable qualities] of His counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable [unchangeable] things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before
