It is a gift,
the dance
of the sun
as the year turns.
It is a gift,
the breath
of the wind
upon the earth.
It is a gift,
the flaming heart
of the center
of the universe.
It is a gift,
the clear waters
of the well
that never forgets.
It is a gift,
the fluid solidness
of the ground
beneath our feet.
It is a simple gift,
a whirling dance,
a river rushing
to the sea.
