After nearly 10 years of marketing strip clubs, I’ve seen countless men forget their manners at home while watching strippers perform. For reasons which I still can’t quite understand, many guys still think exotic dancers must perform sexual acts, just to earn extra tips.

 Bachelor party movies, stereotypes and a plenty of misinformation about what goes on at strip clubs have contributed to this myth, but the truth is that today’s exotic dancers are strictly in the business of providing fantasy adult entertainment. I can tell you with absolute certitude that the fastest way to get tossed out of a strip club is to ask a stripper for sex. Imagine going to college all day or trying to raise kids and then showing up for work night after night to a place where you know some jerk won’t tip a dime unless you let him bump and grind. Would you ask a waitress at Hooters or a belly dancer for sex? If the answer is no, then why expect the same from exotic dancers?

 Strip Club Manners

 It’s completely okay to hoot and holler while watching strippers dance, but I would strongly suggest keeping your hands to yourself. If I had just one buck for every time a guy called me to ask if they can touch the dancers, I’d be able to retire forever. Typically, girls who work at show clubs make their cash by walking around the room and stopping at each table to see if anyone is interested in buying a dance. Rarely have I heard a girl sit at a table and say, “Hi, do you want to have sex?”

 Most girls absolutely hate it when guys act like pigs, and are quick to tell the other dancers which tables to avoid. You have to remember that although it might not be readily evident, these women have feeling just like anyone else and truly loath being disrespected. You will actually enrich your experience at strip clubs by simply making the effort to treat strippers with manners and respect, rather then some sort of sleazy cal girl from an escort agency.

 If you are going to a strip club with friend for a bachelor party, or just by yourself to have a good time, here is some advice on how behave nicely, and still have a really great time.

 When one of the club’s strippers stops at your table, invite her to sit down and have a drink. Politely ask her name, and take a little time to get to know her. Believe it or not, exotic dancers are women to and really do like when a gentleman shows genuine interest. Don’t
