Is it wiser to always tell the truth?
By today's standards, as there is none other then doubling standards. As bleak as that sounds look at what is going on around you on a daily basis. Then you would have to say no to this question. That it is not wise at all to tell the truth. However, in light of this, if you are the type of person with strong values then yes you would agree no matter what. It is good to know that there are some left in the world with such strong values. However, it is small in numbers then fifty years ago when there seemed to be more in the form of family togetherness.
Over the upcoming years the change of a grim ugliness, partly due to take-in things for granted and not looking at what it means to the other person. That may be affected by the decision along with greed. Open mindedness running wild without morals. Decadent behavior running at an even faster pace. Breaking down the barriers of whom you trust.
Now looking on a more positive personal note. We all have the ability to change our ways of life’s destiny if one chooses to do so. I had just recently learned this by following in the shadows of a man who had shown me this first hand. Love the people, hate their actions. I must admit it took a while to sink in. But when it did all else did not matter any longer.
Prevalent to the question above do not allow others to compromise who are by the very nature of design. This said you can always walk with your head held high and if the truth hurts then so be it.
Going along with this idealism was of a real shock to me when I found something so powerful in what I had read. It was of a real eye opener for me. In a big way I cant even think of going back to the way I once was. Here it is I decided to go to college and yes I m doing very well.
However my first class I was given an assignment. And what do you think it was? How to be successful and critique what I thought should have been shown when I was back in high school thirty years ago.
However it had the same antics of demonstration as in the Holy Bible. I was completely blown away by this one, of being a book of the now. The other written some five thousand years ago, information to the t. After reviewing and applying it, then yes as previously stated always tell the truth no matter what the outcome. In reflection never let yourself be compromised to the point of changing who you are as a person and what you represent.
