The power of prayer is a very real and tangible force that can truly make a difference in your life.

The power of prayer goes beyond simple positive thinking and optimism for it allows something greater than us to intercede into any circumstance and situation and to make real lasting change.

The approach to the power of prayer obviously comers from necessity; without this necessity there is no energetic force driving the prayer to create a ripple of prayer that goes beyond the self to be met by that to which we are praying. Prayer energy in this way creates a resonance that attracts a similar prayer resonance that results in what one might see as the prayer being answered.

The power of prayer is of course beyond merely asking and receiving. You are aligning yourself through the power of prayer to a source of energy and power that can transform your life. This source of energy does not merely exist when one prays and certainly does not act of the whim of the prayer; the act of prayer thus realigns oneself to the natural state of things and allows one to see that prayer is more of a recognition rather than a mere exchange.

Whatever way you look at it or try to analyse it the power of prayer works. Use it therefore as a way to refresh the self and to realign the self to a natural state of peace and abundance. This is where it can shine through for it allows the self to be witness to natural healing and harmony.

The actual methods of prayer will of course vary from person to person and will often be dictated by a particular religious following or upbringing. The basic steps though are similar. One quiets the self and brings focus to the mind. Then one would tune to the source of energy in a form perhaps familiar and one would then open and receive.

The power of prayer is simply that if you pray you will be heard. This is an important point. Forget whether you will be answered or not for that simply places focus on the result and the result may not be in a way that you expect. You then might think that you have not been heard and so you will create a cycle of doubt that makes future prayer a little harder.

So allow the power of prayer to simply be that you have been heard and then allow the prayer itself to bring you to peace and harmony.
