Thank God for your eyes today
You are blessed to see the light of day.
Each day you wake up and see
The beautiful faces of humanity.
You get to see the beauty of nature
The rich and poor in every stature.
What would you do without your eyes?
A world of darkness, my or my!
A wonderful organ that expresses emotions
Sometmes love, joy, sorrow and confusion.
Different shapes and colours we see
Blue, green, black, brown and mahogany.
Enjoy life with the gift of sight
Many without it are in a sorrowful plight.
You and I are blessed with eyes.
This precious gift that cannot be replaced.

into your soul,
when your face lights up.
It may show pain and sadness
but it does not hurt.
I know better.
