My shopping horror story happened when i was nine months pregnant with my second child. In the store we were in, the bathroom was in a private area and it was evening, so there weren't a lot of people around. We were taking turns using the restroom while the other stayed with our 10 and a half month old son.
While my husband was taking his turn, a lady caught my eye sitting at a table holding her head. She remind me of someone in need of "a fix" real quick. It was like she knew we were there. She automatically got up and came over to my cart with my son in it. You could see the dark circles under hr eyes and she was not well dressed. "O my gosh. What a darling. Can I pick him up? I just want to feel if he is as heavy as my son." I kept telling her no but her hands kept reaching for him. All I could think of was if she ran off with my son, how in the world was I going to be able to chase after her. "But I just want to hold him. I really need to. I miss my son". I actually had tears in my eyes. She was being so persistent. Just then my husband came out and around he corner and before I could get a word out of my mouth, she was gone. I was shaking so bad. I told my husband and he went around looking for her, but there was no trace.
